Hilltop Artists Food Drive

With all the uncertainty around government funding and food insecurity in our communities, many local families are at risk of going hungry. Together, we can make sure no child has to go without.

Please help us bridge the gap in food access during this uncertain time so that Hilltop Heritage families have the resources they need to stay nourished and supported.

This initiative will help Hilltop Artists and school partners collect and distribute essential food and gift card donations through a coordinated effort between guidance counselors and the Outreach Team.

Donation Requests

Please focus on non-perishable, shelf-stable, unexpired, unopened food items.

Most Requested Items

• Peanut butter and other nut butters

• Canned fruits and vegetables

• Baby food and formula

• Canned chili, stew, or soup (pop-top lids preferred)

• Canned proteins (chicken, tuna, Spam)

Gift Card Donations

• Grocery store gift cards in $25 – $50 denominations:

  • Safeway

  • WinCo

  • Walmart

  • Fred Meyer

  • Grocery Outlet

  • Costco

Donation & Drop-off Instructions

Donations to the Hilltop Artists Food Drive must be made after 2:30 PM and dropped off at the Hot Shop at Hilltop Heritage Middle School. Important: No visitors are allowed in the hot shop during the school day.

If you use the address 803 N Grant Ave, Tacoma, WA 98403, the directions should lead you to the basketball court entrance at the back of the school campus.
