After-School Program

After-School programs are run by Hilltop Artists at both Wilson High School and Jason Lee Middle School. These programs are open to all youth enrolled in school in Pierce County. We have three separate glass arts modalities, which provide a wide range of access to students of differing artistic, social and physical abilities. Jason Lee also provides a kind of arts clubhouse, where students may just hang out, engage in other craft or art forms, do homework and/or watch the glass arts process. All youth must be registered with HIlltop Artists. Hilltop Artists has also added a new school and in partnership with United Way and Puget Sound Educational Service District has opened a flameworking studio at Ford Middle School in the Franklin Pierce School District serving 24 students.

The class will meet Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00-4:30 pm at Jason Lee Middle School beginning on Monday September 19th and Mondays through Thursdays from 2:30-4:00 at Wilson High School beginning on Monday September 19th. Generally, Middle school students will attend at Jason Lee and high school students will attend at Wilson. There is currently no charge for the class.

Be a hero!

We want to keep our programs free and accessible for ALL of our students.

To do so we depend on the generosity of our supporters and advocates.
